Just my thoughts for linda and all writers.
Written on 2009-11-03 16:41:37, 579 views.

Hi Linda. just feeling a little frustrated at the lack of comments and good feedback on the work posted. I am happy enough with my own comments but I have seen really good writers post for awhile and then never see their work again. I also think some challenges would be good and bring the writers together. It is after all a web writing community but it rarely feels like that. In saying all that I will stay with this site and have introduced many people to it and have got good help with my writings

Hi Kaitlyn, I understand what you mean, but remember that a lot of the views will be from passers by, not members. People find articles by searching for things all the time - they're not looking for poetry or stories to read and even if they are, they won't necessarily join just to give feedback.

Im still fairly new to this site, but in all honesty Ive had nothing but incredibly helpful feedback from people, even tho i noticed most leans on the more positive side. Not sure if thats something good or not, but i figure if i was truly terrible then these people would let me know at least haha. I try to give constructive feedback, but most of I have read has been unbeliveably great. There are some brilliant writers on here and they should be commended! And patricia your one of them. I hope one day to reach a level you all have reached, as I'm pretty new to taking what I like to write seriously haha. Hope any comments I leave arent overly vague or seem not as helpful in anyway

Just wanted to say one thing about this. I completely agree. It really agitates me to see the work of great writers go "unnoticed." They get 100+ views, but NO comments. It really is disappointing. Those that do give constructive feedback, I applaud you.

If someone is consistently posting unhelpful feedback, then please drop me a line and I'll write to them.

I am hoping to redevelop the site and the new site will have creative writing exercises.

I'm always glad of suggestions, so thanks.

Just some of my thoughts,i am a regular visiter of the site, but the thing which stops me from commenting is that i really dön't think myself qualified enough to act as a critic to your work, which is nothing other than great
some of you guys always comment ön my work,it's a great learning experience for me
i am very thankful to you patrica and all other writers who are really guiding me

I agree, a bit more constructive feedback would be nice rather than just "I liked it". I would like to know whether my poem made the reader think more deeply about the topic or have a different view as well as constructive critique'.
