A research scientist by profession, specialism planetary studies, I am also an artist, writer and poet. I had a disabling illness as a child which made me agressively determined to tackle life the good and the bad head on, and my poetry and art works often reflect this attitude, but also stress the importance I place on empathy, compassion and love, as well as my profound dislike for dogmatic systems and prejudice of all kinds, particularly political and religious ones.
